Terms of use
Last updated: 1 October 2026.
Purpose
These terms govern the use of the Meeting Hub website and service, published by . Using the service means accepting these terms. A contract signed with an institution prevails over them.
The service
Meeting Hub provides virtual classrooms in the browser: online lessons and meetings, timetable, attendance sheets, and access for school management software. Without an account, anyone can join a lesson or a meeting, and open an instant meeting. An institution is opened from the website, on trial, or with us after a demo.
Your account
- You sign in with your email or your phone, and your password.
- You provide accurate information, and you keep your password to yourself.
- You are responsible for what is done with your account.
- Report any fraudulent use to .
Roles in an institution
- The Proprietor holds the institution. They answer for it, invite people, can hand their title over, and can request the institution's closure.
- Administrators manage people, centres, rooms and software access.
- The director of studies and centre directors run classes, the timetable and attendance sheets.
- Teachers lead their lessons; learners attend them.
Whoever invites a person makes sure they agree to be enrolled, and passes on their activation link.
The trial
- An institution created from the website opens on a 30-day trial. The person who creates it becomes its Proprietor.
- During the trial, rooms hold up to 10 people. The rest of the service is the same.
- The trial commits you to no subscription. What comes next is agreed with , who then activates the institution. The trial may be extended.
- When the trial ends, the institution's access is paused: nothing opens any more, but nothing is deleted. The Proprietor can still export the attendance sheets.
Acceptable use
It is prohibited to:
- share unlawful, hateful or violent content, or harass a participant;
- record or broadcast a meeting without its participants' consent;
- try to bypass the service's security, or overload it;
- impersonate someone else.
Availability
The service is provided on a best-effort basis. It may be interrupted for maintenance or an incident. The quality of a lesson also depends on each participant's network. Unless a contract says otherwise, no service level is guaranteed.
Software access
An access key belongs to the institution that created it, or to the software partner that created it on its behalf. It must be kept secret. Its use is subject to limits, and it may be revoked in case of abuse.
Support
To help you, the Meeting Hub team can enter your institution in support mode. Every entry is recorded in the institution's log, which the Proprietor and administrators read, and a banner shows it on screen.
Closure
The Proprietor can request the institution's closure. Access is paused at once, and the institution, with all its data, is deleted 30 days later. Until then, it can export its attendance sheets, or ask us to cancel the closure.
Intellectual property
The service and its components remain the publisher's property. What you put into it remains yours.
Liability
The publisher is not liable for network or power outages, nor for how participants use the service. Its liability is limited to direct damage.
Pausing access
An account or an institution that breaches these terms may have its access paused, or be deleted, after a warning except in an emergency.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Cameroonian law. Any dispute is first submitted to amicable settlement, then to the courts of .
Changes
These terms may change. The date at the top of the page shows their latest version.
